Setting Up Your WebSite...
We'll be glad to help you set up a fully operational eCommerce website for your
proposed mailorder business. If you would like to do this for business for yourself and
you have your own products or suppliers, we can help and steps and costs are as follows:
First, decide on a domain name (ie. YourName.com) for your business. Check out the
availability of the domain using the Internic Site or we can do that for you and register
it for you. Internic will charge you $70.00 for 2 years registration. If you want us to
set it up for you, we will do it for $20.00
Next, establish a website on our server. Simply let us know when you'd like to establish
the site. the cost for the server site is $30 set-up and $16.95 per month, base fee. We
will set-up a standard HomePage for your site for free. Custom HomePage design is
available for additional fees.
We will then set up a WebStore for you using Ultrashop ($70.00). This will give you a
shopping basket system for taking orders.
Then you will have to set-up a secure credit card account with 1st Commerce by filling out
an application with them. This will set-up an account for you to have the credit card
receipts from your sales deposited to your merchant account. Depending on the options you
choose, 1stCommerce will charge you up to $150.00 set-up and 2.5% plus a $0.30 fee per
transaction The approval will take about 7-10 days to set-up your accounts.
Then you will need a gateway for accepting secure credit card information (to be processed
by 1stCommerce) which will cost $200 set-up and $45.00 per month fee, with no transaction
charges.
The entire package will cost about $540.00 plus monthly fees.
